Fairbanks - FAIRBANKS --
Tanana Valley Television and Radio is a locally owned and operated media outlet serving the Interior of Alaska.
Bill St. Pierre and a group of local investors, seeing the need for more diverse viewing options in the Interior got together in the early 90's and built K07UU, an independent station.
In 1992, after many years of only two commercial broadcast stations serving the Fairbanks area, FOX hit the screens and was instantly well received by the viewing public.
Today, FOX7 continues to enhance television viewing opportunities here in town with the longest running animated sit-com, THE SIMPSONS, Mega hit American Idol and such "cannot miss" shows as House, Bones, Cops, Americas Most Wanted, Family Guy, 24 and not to mention the NFL's NFC series to include the Super Bowl.
In addition to such a powerhouse network affiliation, FOX 7 answered the "wants" of the viewing community by bringing the Alaska Nanooks to the screen, launching the local buying, selling, trading show, The Hawk shop and launching the IFL's Fairbanks Grizzlies to the living rooms of all during this inaugural season.
Tanana Valley Television continues to grow offering more media choices such as KXD News 13 (CBS), FOX7's sister station, KYSC (KISS) FM 96.9 and KDJF FM 93.5.
Tanana Valley Television also offers a "state of the art" production house which has helped many young creative producers on their way to Hollywood.
Tanana Valley Television employs 30 full time people on average and takes pride in their local economic contribution to the Fairbanks Community.
You may view FOX7 locally on channel 14 with your roof top antenna, 7.1 through your digital converter box, retransmitted on Dish Network, DirecTV, GCI and Denali Wireless.
We will also provide analog retransmission on channel 14 from Ester Dome beginning in March of 2008. Thank you for selecting FOX 7 as your favorite station.
