Mat-Su Market Place

Fairbanks - The Mat-Su Holiday Marketplace is a one stop holiday shopping extravaganza for Wasilla and the Mat-Su Valley . This event gives the area an opportunity to shop for unique and one of a kind gifts, right in their neighborhood, without that long commute to Anchorage . There will be over 110 booths in one location, on one floor with lots of free parking.

The show will take place in the Wasilla Multi-Use Sports Complex. The building opened its doors on March 6, 2004 and is a premier indoor sports complex.

The 5th Annual Mat-Su Marketplace was an incredible event. Over 100 different artists and craftsmen from all over the state participated, and over 3,300 people attended the two day event. We had shoppers from the valley, Anchorage, and even as far away as Cantwell.

The 6th Annual Marketplace is scheduled on October 31 & November 1, 2009. The early date gives the public a jump on holiday shopping and you the vendor an opportunity to market your goods to a wide cross section of this community. Early registration indicates a sold out show. Don't miss the chance to get in on this exciting event.

You can register on line to be put on the waiting list. All 2008 vendors have grandfather rights until Jan 15 for the 2009 event. The floor plan will be laid out in early February. Spaces that become available will be filled at that time. You will be notified by phone and a deposit will be due upon receipt of Mat-Su event paperwork. Hand made in Alaska items only.
